A woman was arrested early Wednesday for suspicion of gross misdemeanor violation of a temporary protection order and other alleged offenses, according to a Carson City Sheriff’s Office booking report.

Deputies were called to a Minnesota Street address at around 3 a.m. after the reporting party told dispatch his roommate had a temporary protection order against a woman who was in their backyard.

Deputies arrived and observed the woman walk out from the backyard, within 10 yards of the residence. She said something similar to “I’m going to jail aren’t I?” the report states.

Deputies spoke with the victim, who stated he is the protected party and the woman the adverse party. The order restrained the woman from contacting him and being within 100 yards of his residence, the report states.

The victim reviewed footage from his cameras and found the woman had been walking around his house since 11:30 p.m. on April 1 and at around 3 a.m. Wednesday. The woman had taken the window screen off and was climbing into the victim’s room. He got out of bed and pushed her out of his residence. He stated he wished to press charges for trespassing.

She was booked for the protection order violation, a gross misdemeanor offense, misdemeanor trespassing and a Department of Alternative Sentencing violation. Bail: $5,000.
