Carson City and Carson Valley area casinos saw a relatively flat month in February gaming-generated revenue, posting a slight decrease of 0.48 percent compared to February 2024 figures, according to the Nevada Gaming Control Board’s monthly report.
Casinos in Carson City, Gardnerville, Minden and all other areas of Douglas County except for South Shore Lake Tahoe, report gaming revenue, also called “gaming win,” at $10,297,812 in February.
Nevada’s nonrestricted gaming licensees reported a total “gaming win” of $1,217,662,484 for the month of February 2025. This amounts to a 9.28 percent decrease compared to February 2024 when licensees reported a gaming win of $1,342,206,155. For the fiscal year (July 1, 2024 through Feb. 28, 2025, gaming win has decreased 1.14 percent.
Elsewhere, gaming win at casinos at South Shore Lake Tahoe was down 17.35 percent for February, taking in $17,646,178 for the month. North Shore Lake Tahoe saw its revenue decrease by 9.34 percent.
Reno casinos saw a revenue decrease of 6.44 percent, while Sparks casino revenue was down 2.65 percent.
