
Carson City Fire Department was dispatched Sunday to an accident involving an ATV rider in the Brunswick Canyon area.
The call came into dispatch late Sunday morning and involves an injured ATV rider located around 10 feet off the main path approximately 3 miles in the canyon area. First responders report the injured rider was conscious and alert and may have suffered rib injuries.
A Carson City Fire Department rescue team was able to get to the rider just after noon and ordered a Care Flight air ambulance, which it directed to land in the area of Deer Run Road and Antler Drive. Carson City Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to Deer Run and Antler for traffic control.
The condition of the injured rider is unknown at this time.
