The Carson City School District announced a new partnership with Edustaff, an educational staffing agency, to improve and expand its substitute staffing solutions. The district said the collaboration will ensure students receive consistent, high-quality instruction even in the absence of their regular teachers.

“In Carson City, we are committed to providing the best possible learning environment for our students,” said Dan Sadler, Chief Human Resources Officer for the Carson City School District. “This new partnership will ensure our substitute teachers are supported, well-trained and prepared as educators.”

Edustaff brings years of experience in education staffing and is dedicated to providing districts with highly qualified personnel. Their commitment to professional development and thorough vetting processes align with the standards for educational excellence in Carson City.

Carson City School District has nearly 500 teachers, and with as many as 20 to 90 teachers absent each day, the need for consistent and reliable subs is greater now than it ever has been, Sadler continued.

“With Edustaff, we are looking to develop a pool of up to 200 qualified substitute teachers available to support classrooms as needed,” Sadler said.

Community members interested in substitute teaching are encouraged to apply through Edustaff. More information on the application process and upcoming hiring events can be found by visiting the district’s website at CarsonCitySchools.com.
