My name is Kiera Harrison, and I’m thrilled to introduce my newest chapter to the Carson City community, The Beachin’ Hair Cove, my independently owned salon now open and accepting new clients.

I have been a licensed cosmetologist for 16 years with 11 years of experience behind the chair, specializing in vibrant and natural color, vivid transformations, Brazilian Blowouts, extensions, and custom blonding services.

Opening my own salon has been a dream of mine since I was a little girl, and seeing it come to life is truly one of the proudest moments of my career.

A few years ago, I stepped away from the beauty industry to work as a Peer Recovery Support Specialist, helping individuals navigate some of the most difficult seasons of their lives.

That experience strengthened my empathy, deepened my connection to people, and gave me a renewed appreciation for the power of compassionate, judgment free spaces.

When I returned to cosmetology, I realized just how much I missed the artistry, the transformation, and the relationships built behind the chair. The Beachin’ Hair Cove was created from that feeling, a place where clients can relax, feel seen, and leave renewed.

On November 22, I proudly graduated from Southern New Hampshire University with my Associate of Science in Business Administration, earning Highest Honors. This achievement represents my dedication to personal and professional growth and the hard work that has gone into bringing my salon dream to life.

The Beachin’ Hair Cove is more than a salon, it’s an experience. With vibrant coastal colors, warm lighting, and thoughtful details honoring my late Aunt Darla, whose love for the beach inspired my vision, my salon is designed to feel like a breath of fresh ocean air. A place where beauty meets comfort, confidence, and connection.
