Carson City sheriff’s deputies were responding to several vehicle accidents this morning, including a pickup blocking traffic along the Fifth and Fairview roundabout and a tree limb that was blocking traffic on Roop and Second Street.
Motorists should avoid the roundabout area entirely, according to deputies on scene as of 8:15 a.m. A street crew was responding to Roop and Second and to Mountain Street where tree limbs were blocking the roadways. Other vehicles are reportedly spinning out on the roads, winding up in ditches or creating minor fender-benders.
If traveling this morning, please take it slow as roads are icy and slick.
