With heavy heart, I announce the passing of Adrianne Diane Meloy. Adrianne had many accomplishments in the many years she was with us, Adrianne graduated from high school at John Burroughs in Burbank, CA. She earned a Bachelor Degree in Political Science from UCLA finishing at UC Berkley.

She joined the Gamma Phi Beta sorority at UCLA and stayed affiliated throughout her life. She was also the Panhellenic President of the sorority Greek system while at UCLA. She went on to earn a Secondary Teaching degree in Social Studies and English, and later she went on to obtain a master’s degree in education Azusa Pacific College. She was a teacher, dean of girls, counselor, and vice-principal in various Southern California school districts.

She loved working with students and people, and she touched numerous lives. After teaching, she was hired in management with a cable company, Z Channel and moved to Las Vegas, NV. Soon she moved to Carson City, NV and sold real estate for several years. In semi-retirement, Adrianne worked in a Virginia City souvenir store where she could meet people from all over the world.

Adrianne is survived by her son, daughter and brother. Brady Harms, Stacey Rogers, and Brett Clark, respectively. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, 2 nieces, 1 nephew, 2 great-nephews, and 1 great-niece. She was an absolute joy to have in everyone’s lives. She was a baseball fanatic and loved to travel, read, and work puzzles. She taught her children to love and treat everyone with respect. She did not believe in guilt trips allowing her children to develop with no emotional baggage. She is greatly missed. She passed away on January 11, 2025. There will be a celebration of life in June for what would have been her 90th birthday.
