Here is this week’s Carson City area road report from the public works department for Feb. 9-15: Beginning, Tuesday, Feb. 10, through Thursday, Feb. 12, there will be intermittent lane closures along Carson Street between William Street and Fifth Street during daytime hours due to survey work for the Downtown Streetscape Project.
In addition, on Sunday, Feb. 15, Carson Street will be completely closed between William Street and Musser Street from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Detours will be signed.
The intersection of Jerry Lane and Elaine Street will be closed. Jerry Lane will only be accessible from Ruth Street, but closed to through traffic from the west. Detours will be signed.
On Monday, Feb. 9, and Tuesday, Feb. 10, there will be a lane closure on Trolley Way south of Railroad Drive with flagger controlled traffic.
On Wednesday, Feb. 11, and Thursday, Feb. 12, there will be a lane closure on Hytech Drive north of Arrowhead Drive with flagger controlled traffic.
On Wednesday, Feb. 11, there will be a partial lane closure on Westview Avenue north of Ridge Street.
The sidewalk will be closed along the north side of Musser Street between Division Street and Minnesota Street and the east side of Minnesota Street between Musser Street and Proctor Street for the entire week.
