In a brief ceremony yesterday, Carson High School celebrated senior student-athletes who will continue their athletic careers at the collegiate level following graduation. Carson High School seniors who have signed or committed to intercollegiate athletic programs listed below by their first name followed by last name (alphabetized).

“These student-athletes have shown remarkable talent, dedication and perseverance throughout their high school careers, both academically and athletically,” said Carson High School Athletic Director Thomas Reymer. “They have set a strong example for those who follow, and we congratulate them as they take the next step in their athletic journeys.”

Additionally, Nevada Sports Net honored Carson High’s Julia Aquino, varsity Cheer and Swim, with a $1,000 scholarship at Friday’s Galena vs. Carson basketball game. The special on-court check presentation was made possibly in partnership withAmerica First Credit Union. The Nevada Sports Net’s scholarship program recognizes ten standout two-sport high school athletes across northern Nevada. It aims to spotlight outstanding students for their achievements on the field and in the classroom while investing in their future educational opportunities.
