Nevada State Parks invites Nevadans to celebrate America’s 250th anniversary by giving back to the places that protect the state’s natural beauty, history, and outdoor heritage. Through a series of hands-on volunteer service projects, community members can spend the day in the park while making a meaningful impact on the landscapes that define Nevada.
The America 250 Nevada Gives Project, is a statewide service initiative encouraging volunteerism and civic engagement in honor of the nation’s 250th anniversary. As part of this broader effort, Nevada State Parks will host 14 volunteer service projects in state parks between February and June 2026.
These projects focus specifically on park stewardship, conservation, and visitor experience improvements, giving volunteers a chance to directly support Nevada’s public lands while enjoying time outdoors.

All Nevada State Parks America 250 service projects include:
- A commemorative America 250 volunteer t-shirt
- Free day-use entry to the state park hosting the event
- Snacks and water
- All necessary protective equipment
