The Carson City School District and Seeliger Elementary School are proud to recognize Michael Hohl Subaru as its January Community Partner of the Month. Michael Hohl Subaru’s Adopt A Classroom program was recognized as an Ambassador Level partner for their ongoing commitment to supporting local schools and for their generous in-kind contributions to enhance the educational and cultural experiences for students in Carson City.

Michael Hohl Subaru is considered a Community Partner at the Ambassador Level because their support aligns with three Strategic Plan goals.

Goal 1:

Through the Subaru Loves Learning program, Michael Hohl Subaru has supported education by providing teachers at Seeliger Elementary with funding to purchase the school supplies and resources they know are most needed to help their students thrive in the classroom. These contributions directly enhance teacher morale, helping staff excel in their roles.

Goal 4:

Promote the positive rewards system PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) by donating more than $12,000 for incentives for the school’s store to motivate students to make positive choices.

As part of its Community Partner Program, the school district features a local business, organization or individual each month for their commitment to helping schools and children have better opportunities and experiences in alignment with the district’s Strategic Plan goals.

The Community Partner Recognition System aims to build a stronger, more engaged community dedicated to the success and well-being of its students. Additionally, it acknowledges and celebrates the valuable contributions of our community partners as they align with the goals found in the Carson City School District Strategic Plan, Empower Carson City 2027.

  • Goal 1: Exceptional Staff
  • Goal 2: Curriculum that Matters
  • Goal 3: Engaged Parents and Families
  • Goal 4: Healthy Generations of Carson Students
  • Goal 5: Community in Full Partnership

The school district looks forward to continuing this valuable partnership and encourages other community members and businesses to consider how they can contribute to the success of students.
