Meet Kizzy – the sweetest Mama who deserves the world.
Kizzy is a 3-year-old female dilute tortie with a heartwarming story of resilience and love. She was discovered in a basement after her owner was evicted. Kizzy was pregnant, alone and abandoned. Thankfully, a compassionate neighbor reached out to Catmandu, desperate to find a safe place for Kizzy to welcome her babies.
On October 27, 2024, Kizzy gave birth to five beautiful kittens – three orange males, one tortie female, and one orange female. Even amidst the chaos of being moved to a foster home, Kizzy’s nurturing instincts shone through.
She lovingly cared for her kittens while also checking on her sick foster family members, ensuring everyone around her felt comforted and cared for. Her foster family, part of Catmandu’s incredible community of supporters, opened their home to her without hesitation, knowing the challenges ahead.
A few days ago, Kizzy’s kittens moved to another foster home where they await adoption, and Kizzy joined us at Catmandu. She now waits and hopes for a loving forever home where she can relax, soak up affection, and spend her days spoiling her humans with love – all while being spoiled in return, as she so richly deserves
If you would like to provide Kizzy (or one of her kittens) the loving home they’ve been waiting for, please complete a pre-adoption application on our website at: CatmanduCC.org/adoptions or visit bio.link/MomCat.
Potential adopters may visit Catmandu at 1829 Brown Street, Friday through Sunday from 11 am to 4 pm. Please plan to arrive no later than 3 pm so you have plenty of time to meet Kizzy and other wonderful cats awaiting their forever homes.
Catmandu is a cage-free cat sanctuary and rescue celebrating a decade of lifesaving efforts in 2024. Since our founding in March 2014, nearly 3,000 cats have found better lives through our doors, with many more helped through our community programs. As a nonprofit organization, we rely entirely on donations and the generosity of our community to continue our work. To support our mission, visit CatmanduCC.org to learn more about donating or volunteering.
Let’s give Kizzy the future she deserves.
