As we bid farewell to 2024 and welcome the promise of 2025, Carson Tahoe Health is proud to celebrate two special arrivals: The last baby born in 2024 and the first baby of the new year, who will be warmly welcomed with gifts from members of the community as well as their community hospital.
Celebrating the Last Baby of 2024
Just shy of the New Year’s mark, the last baby of 2024 was born at Carson Tahoe Health, bringing a heartwarming close to the year. In keeping with their cherished tradition, the Western Nevada Cattlewomen’s organization presented the family with a $250 gift certificate to purchase beef, in support of healthy nutrition. This meaningful gift, which has been awarded since 1999, provides essential zinc, iron, and protein to aid in the new mother’s postpartum recovery.
Welcoming the First Baby of 2025
The first baby of 2025 was born at 4:22 a.m. on January 1, weighing 6 pounds, 15 ounces, and measuring 21.25 inches long. Proud parents Trista and James joyfully welcomed their precious Penelope into the world. Her special arrival marked not just the beginning of a new year, but also the start of an exciting new chapter for the family. To celebrate, Carson Tahoe Health presented the family with a baby-friendly gift basket to honor their newest addition.
Carson Tahoe Health is privileged to share in these meaningful moments and remains dedicated to delivering exceptional care to every family. Wishing everyone a healthy, joyful, and prosperous 2025!
