Sierra Nevada Realtors is pleased to announce the members of the 2026 Sierra Nevada Realtors Board, serving six Northern Nevada counties, including Carson City, Churchill, Douglas, Storey, Lyon and Washoe counties (excluding Incline Village).

This year’s board consists of 16 members, including nine returning and welcoming seven newly elected executives. Additionally, SNR is pleased to share the recipients of their 2025 awards. 

“I’m thrilled to engage, educate and elevate our industry alongside an outstanding 2026 Board of Directors,” said Garrett Lepire, 2026 president of Sierra Nevada Realtors. “Congratulations to everyone who ran and to those elected. I look forward to a fantastic year ahead.”

Garrett Lepire, President

Garrett Lepire.

Garrett Lepire’s passion for real estate began at age 12, exploring open houses and model homes with his late grandfather. Growing up with a father who is a general contractor, he learned the value of hard work and the process of turning visions into reality. Lepire earned his real estate license just before graduating from Carson High School in 2000 and has spent over 20 years helping clients navigate important decisions with integrity and expertise. He takes pride in helping clients achieve financial security, build generational wealth and experience the joy of homeownership, making every transaction meaningful and impactful.

Sam Olson.

Sam Olson, President-Elect

Sam Olson is a real estate team leader dedicated to developing productive, ethical and professional agents across the industry. With more than a decade of board governance experience, he has served organizations such as Build Our Center, Inc., Silver State Fair Housing Council and the diversity and inclusion committees for NVR and SNR. He founded the first international, agent-led coalition within the RE/MAX network — uniting over 800 members across five countries to advance equity in real estate. As a Washoe County representative on the SNR Board, Olson is committed to promoting professionalism, transparency and advocacy that keeps members’ voices at the forefront.

Jena Lanini.

Jena Lanini, First Vice-President

Jena Lanini is a top-producing realtor, redefining real estate in Northern Nevada with expertise, perspective and a commitment to community impact. A native of Lake Tahoe and a Reno resident for the past 12 years, Lainini has leveraged her personal and professional journey to guide clients with integrity, insight and an empowered mindset. Lanini is deeply involved in the real estate profession, serving as a local board director and holding leadership roles on political and legislative committees. Lanini is a Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist (CLHMS), helping clients achieve intentional, elevated living through strategic real estate decisions while fostering community wellness and opportunity.

Michelle Barney.

Michelle Barney, Treasurer

Michelle Barney is a second-generation real estate professional in Northern Nevada with 17+ years of experience in residential sales, property management and broker management. A White Pine County High School graduate, she studied Business Management in Madison, SD, before returning to Nevada. Family and community are central to her life and she is active in Fernley Main Street America, the Chamber of Commerce, Builder’s Association and Moose Lodge #2468. In 2020, she founded Nevada Prime Real Estate, providing clients and agents with personalized, professional service and earning a reputation as a trusted local leader.

Leandra Carr-Hanshaw.

Leandra Carr-Hanshaw, Immediate Past President

With over two decades in real estate, Carr-Hanshaw previously served as the Comstock director for SNR and is actively involved with the Lyon County Board of Equalization. Her leadership extends across various organizations, including serving as secretary for the AYSO Board and Silver Springs Advisory Board, treasurer of a political group and president of a homeowners association (HOA). A 2019 recipient of the Sally Young Award from the Nevada Realtors Leadership Academy, she also participated in the inaugural Leadership Alumni Service Project of house-building in Mexico in 2022.
