As we bid farewell to 2025 and welcome the promise of 2026, Carson Tahoe Health is honored to celebrate two meaningful arrivals: the last baby born in 2025 and the first baby of the new year. Carson Tahoe Health proudly welcomed 915 births in 2025.

The Last Baby of 2025

The final baby of 2025 arrived at 9:03PM on December 31, weighing 7 pounds, 4.9 ounces and measuring 20 inches. Proud mom Rebecca joyfully welcomed Gabriel before the New Year’s countdown.

In keeping with a cherished tradition, the Western Nevada Cattle Women presented the family with a $250 beef gift certificate, a gift they have awarded annually since 1999 to support healthy postpartum nutrition. This meaningful contribution provides valuable nutrients, including zinc, iron, and protein, to aid in a new mother’s recovery.

Welcoming the First Baby of 2026

The first baby of 2026 arrived at 10:32am on January 1, weighing 7 pounds, 13 ounces and measuring 20 inches. Proud parents Alyssa and Izaiah joyfully welcomed Dyami into the world.

This special New Year’s Day arrival symbolizes a fresh start and an exciting chapter for the family. To celebrate, Carson Tahoe Health presented the family with a baby-friendly gift basket to honor their newest addition.

Carson Tahoe Health is privileged to share in these treasured moments and remains dedicated to delivering exceptional, compassionate care to every family we serve. We wish our community a healthy, joyful, and prosperous 2026.
