Get ready for the most fantastic event in Carson City. The Outlaw Flat Trac Race is back, and it's bigger and better than ever. The event is from 6-10 p.m., Friday, Aug. 25 and Saturday, Aug. 26 at Fuji Park just south of Carson City at 601 Old Clear Creek Road, for an adrenaline-fueled experience.

Carson Raceway is proud to announce their grand re-opening on Monday, March 1 at 5:30 p.m. Carson Raceway's new owner, Joe Conroy, is a lifelong resident of Carson City and is excited about the opportunity to reopen the track.

Carson Raceway is located at 3777 N. Carson Street next to Ben's Discount Liquors.

Hours are Monday through Thursday, 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m., Friday 5:30 p.m. to 11 p.m., Saturday 12 p.m. to 11 p.m. and Sunday 12 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Carson City BMX is hosting a fundraiser for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation - Laps for Lungs on Friday, Sept. 13. This is separate from CCBMX racing schedule.

The laps will be done during the practice times (6-7 pm). You do not need to be a USABMX member to participate in this worthy cause. You do need to fill out a 1-day trial membership (free).

Laps for Lungs fundraiser at Carson City BMX Track (1555 Livermore Lane, Carson City) will take place Friday September 13th, 2019 from 6 - 7:30pm. There is a $5.00 donation asked for the fundraiser. (Regular Racing Fees apply for the night).

For each lap you ride during practice, a ticket will be placed into a jar for the drawing. The more laps you ride the more chances to win!

The Epic Rides Off-Road Series is a nationally recognized mountain bike festival featuring endurance racing, music, biking exhibitions and more. The City entered into a five-year agreement with Epic Rides and the Carson City Culture and Tourism Authority regarding the Carson City Off-Road event to be held the third weekend of each June.

Track prep has been slow going but heck or high water pushing to make this happen. So now, Carson City BMX Open House is scheduled for Saturday, 20 April 2019, 1-4 pm and start our 2019 season on Sunday, 21 April 2019, signups 9-10 am (must be a USABMX member).

Carson City's Muscle Powered Trash Mob collects nearly 600 pounds of waste Saturday

This Saturday morning 19 intrepid Carson City area "Trash Mobbers" came out in the drizzle to pick up what others left behind. We met at the south end of North Lompa Lane and everyone spread out along the Multi-Use Path to gather nearly 600 pounds of trash from that point south to 5th street.
