This week's Flat Bed Concert Series will be going through the middle of Carson City, featuring Spike McGuire from Loud as Folk along with two other musicians. The concert will be held Saturday, July 25 beginning at 6 p.m. until 9 p.m.

The route will begin at the Tanglewood Apartments near the CHS tech center, drive through Mills Park and then wherever people are safely gathering.

Feeding Pets of the Homeless, a national animal welfare nonprofit based in Carson City, Nev., received a $3,000 grant from the Dave and Cheryl Duffield Foundation to provide financial assistance towards helping those in Northern Nevada.

Mills Park pickleball court project in Carson City complete and open for play

We are proud to announce the first phase of the Mills Park Pickleball Court conversion project in Carson City is completed. As of Tuesday, July 21, 2020, the courts are open to the public.

This phase consists of four dedicated pickleball courts with permanent nets, installed on the westernmost of the two asphalt-base tennis courts.

The Capital City Arts Initiative presents its exhibition, "H2O 2020", with work by eight Great Basin artists at the CCAI Courthouse Gallery: Cyndy Brenneman, Vanessa Martinez, Nolan Preece, Nancy Raven, Craig Sheppard, Dylan Silver, Cathryne Trachok, and Candida Webb.
