However this year, many stores are finally closing their doors on Thanksgiving Day, and more bargain hunters are turning to online deals for their holiday shopping.

Located at 3250 Retail Drive Suit 105, next to Dickey’s BBQ, The Mix Nutrition offers a variety of health foods including smoothies and juices, as well as meal plan programs.
CASA of Carson City receives corporate donation from Casey Neilon accounting firm

CASA, or Court Appointed Special Advocates, provides quality court-appointed advocacy for abused and neglected children in child welfare cases, through a network of community volunteers who work with children to ensure their voices are heard during court proceedings.

As of today, retailers must adhere to the 50 percent capacity limits, alternatively, many businesses use online marketplace platforms, which may be more convenient. The COVID – 19 impact left many small businesses reliant on online platforms to maintain sales.

COVID-19 Task Force takes action on high transmission risk counties such as Carson City, Lyon and more

Carson City, Clark, Elko, Humboldt, Lincoln, Lyon, Nye and Washoe counties’ plans were previously approved by the Task Force.
Carson City businesses can now be reimbursed for outdoor portable heaters

With the approaching winter season, the Board of Supervisors recently authorized the City to use CARES Act money for portable outdoor heaters in order to reinforce the necessary protocols.

Governor Sisolak announces positive COVID-19 test result
Submitted by Kelsey Penrose on Fri, 11/13/2020 - 5:06pmAs part of a regular testing protocol, Nevada Gov. Steve Sisolak underwent routine COVID-19 testing on Friday, November 13 in Carson City. A rapid test provided a positive result. The Governor also received a diagnostic PCR test and those results are pending at this time.
At this time, the Governor is not experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms. Earlier this week, the Governor expressed feeling fatigue, however he attributed this to his demanding schedule. No other symptoms were experienced.

Nevada governor's staff member in Carson City office tests COVID-19 positive

The staff member was last in the office on Thursday, October 29, 2020, and was not symptomatic at that time.
