Arrests made in connection to recent BB gun vandalism spree in Carson City
UPDATED at 3:41PM: Arrests have been made in connection with the recent string of BB gun vandalism incidences in Carson City. Three suspects have admitted to the crimes and bb guns, pistols and rifles have been recovered, according to the Carson City Sheriff's Office.
"We believe we hit the core of the rampage," said Carson City Sheriff Ken Furlong. "We are in the early stage of the investigation, and will include followup contacts with all the victims."
The suspects in custody are Kelvin Smith, Logan Smith and Brandon Zaza, all from the Carson City area. The charges are forthcoming.

Two of the three adult male suspects were arrested off of Curry Street behind a car wash after the vehicle, matching the description of witnesses, was located when deputies were alerted to a person attempting to steal BB guns at a local sporting good store.
A third male, who took off from the sporting goods store on foot, was found hiding nearby.
The suspects admitted they were responsible for the vandalism spree, and said they were in the Reno-Sparks earlier Tuesday morning doing the same thing, said Carson City Sheriff's Detective Sam Hatley.
A search warrant was applied for and granted allowing investigators to enter the residence of one of the suspects where the bb guns were stored. Scroll to see the photos of the bb guns, pistols and rifles recovered.
