DESCRIPTION:Curated by retired art professor and artist\, Nolan Preece\, The Chemigram Show is now on display in the Bristecone Gallery on the campus of Western Nevada College from February 26 to April 13. The exhibit features works from local artists who have studied the unique photographic process of chemigrams with Preece\, a chemigramist since 1981.  \n\n\n\nAn artists’ reception is planned for Tuesday\, March 17 from 4-6:30 p.m. in the gallery to allow the public to meet the artists and learn more about their work. The audience is invited to meet the singers and enjoy refreshments at a free reception in the Wesley Room following the concert. \n\n\n\nIn keeping with the theme\, the program includes Time\, Time After Time\, The Times They Are A Changin’\, Moonlight\, Day of Fire and Sun\, Lunar Lullaby\, and more. \n\n\n\nFounded in 1985 as a performing group of the Carson City Symphony Association\, the Carson Chamber Singers is open to singers high-school age and above. The ensemble performs in five or more concerts each year. They have sung with the Reno Philharmonic and sing regularly with the Carson City Symphony. They have performed at several venues in northern Nevada and as far west as Sacramento. \n\n\n\nCarson City Symphony Association concerts are supported in part by public funds through grants from the Nevada Arts Council and the National Endowment for the Arts\, from Carson City\, and by private donations.
