November 8, 2021 - 5:30pm Guest speaker at Monday's Democratic Women's Club meeting will be Sondra Cosgrove, PhD, Executive Director and Chair of the Board for Vote Nevada. Dr. Cosgrove, who is a professor of history at the College of Southern Nevada, will be presenting from Las Vegas via Zoom. She will provide an overview of the process by which Nevada's electoral districts will be redrawn by a special session of the legislature in line with the data produced by the 2020 census, and the ways in which the proposed districts will be rated for how well they conform to established standards of fairness.
