KNVC's My Soul University to discuss addiction, yoga, and the rock n roll life Sunday
Prepare to be WOWed, thanks to an honest conversation with Winifred Wilson, as she joins My Soul University Radio Hour on Sunday, November, 28th.
Hosted by Kitty McKay, the show helps listeners embrace their own life struggles, by identifying how to navigate a path forward from the tough stuff…This hour is one you won’t want to miss, airing Sunday, November 28th at 5:00 P.M on KNVC 95.1 FM.
Wilson, and her story, is riveting. She seemed to have it all—a career as a glamorous, global art dealer—a successful "dream” life. Yet she was struggling with addiction and life-long anxiety. This show will explore her path to sobriety (through her yoga practice) and how we can all make peace with the tough stuff.
Now a Yogi, Winifred is half of a music industry power couple along with her husband, rock and roll icon, Dave Mason. While touring with her husband, she uses her yoga practice to help herself and each person she touches, to stay healthy, physically and mentally, while touring.
“I’m so excited for our listeners to be energized by Winifred and her story of day-by-day transformation,” McKay says. “She is one of the hippest and most glamorous humans I’ve ever known, yet is so wise, authentic and connective.”
Wilson also has a soon to be released book coming out, “Downdog for Roaddogs: Yoga for Rock-and-Roll Tour” will be released right before Christmas.
McKay adds “I’m super excited to talk about the book and for everyone to be inspired by this angel who walks among us.”
My Soul University Radio Hour airs at 5:00 PM Sundays on KNVC 95.1 FM and streams at KNVC.org.
