Carson City fire department, deputies called to crash at Goni and Old Hot Springs
UPDATE: Carson City Fire Department and sheriff's deputies were called to a second traffic accident within 30 minutes, this time in the area of Goni Road and Old Hot Springs.
Multiple 911 calls came into Carson City dispatch at around 3:08 p.m. regarding the crash, in which at least two people suffered injuries, a possible fractured arm and a bloody nose, according to dispatch. One person was trapped inside the vehicle briefly and were taken to the hospital.
Arriving Carson City Fire Department personnel report a t-bone wreck. Additional rescue crews were called to the scene due to the entrapment.
In the crash that happened earlier Tuesday afternoon on North Carson Street near Long, no serious injuries were reported.
The cause of the crash at Goni and Old Hot Springs is under investigation. Traffic is being diverted and motorists can expect delays.
