Metcalf Builders unveils construction plans on North Carson Crossing, home to Sprouts and Planet Fitness

Metcalf Builders, an award-winning northern Nevada construction company, announced the recent groundbreaking of North Carson Crossing, which will include a Sprouts and Planet Fitness. The grocery store and gym will be located at 393 Market St., Suites 110 and 120, in Carson City.

Sprouts has more than 400 locations in the United States, and Planet Fitness has gyms in all 50 states and in five other countries. They have other locations in northern Nevada, but these will be the first in Carson City.

The six acre, 45,000 square-foot project consists of an exterior masonry shell, structural steel columns, metal wall panels, storefront systems, and more. Sprouts will occupy 23,000 square feet, and Planet Fitness will occupy 22,000 square feet.

The project, valued at $8.5 million, is the first phase of a larger 15-acre development in the North Carson Crossing Center. Construction is expected to span over the next year, with an estimated completion date set for Summer 2025.
