Carson City area road report for the week of August 5-11

Here is the Carson City area road report for the week of August 5-11, 2024. Closures are expected at the following locations due to road and utility work:
— 2nd Street between Carson Street and Curry Street will be closed to westbound traffic for construction.
— Curry Street between Park Street and Adams St will be closed to northbound traffic from August 5, 2024 and August 23, 2024 for utility work. Follow detours.
— Snyder Avenue between Center Drive and Wa-Pai-Shone Avenue will be closed to through traffic from August 5, 2024 to August 29, 2024 for utility work. Follow detours.
Lane restrictions are expected at the following locations due to road/utility work:
The intersection of 5th Street and Hells Bells Road will have flagger control from Monday to Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
5th Street between Hells Bells Road and Marsh Road will have alternating one-way traffic with random intersection closures from Monday to Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Follow detours.
Carson Street between 2nd Street and Musser Street will have reduced lanes on Monday, 5:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Carson Street, near the intersection of Silver Oak Drive, will have shoulder work from July 29, 2024 to August 16, 2024, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Clearview Drive between Silver Sage Drive and the I-580 overpass will have reduced lanes from July 29, 2024 to August 23, 2024, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Fairview Drive between Sweetwater Drive and Gordon Street will have a single lane closure northbound on August 5, 2024 between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Fairview Drive between Sweetwater Drive and Gordon Street will have a single lane closure northbound on August 6, 2024 between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Furnace Creek Road between Knoblock road and Panamint Road will have reduced or shifted lanes from Monday August 5, 2024 to Friday August 9, 2024, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Mallory Way near 800 Mallory Way will have reduced lanes Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Saliman Road between William Street and Seely Loop will have reduced lanes Monday through Thursday 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
William Street between Oxoby Loop and Saliman road will have shoulder closures. Use caution. The bike path will be closed and trucks will be entering and exiting the roadway from Monday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Winnie Lane between Mountain Street and Carson Street will have shifting lanes and flagger control, and at all intersections from Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
