Carson City health department no longer testing for COVID-19; could change if cases spike

CARSON CITY — Drivers can expect periodic single lane closures on Kingsbury Grade as the Nevada Department of Transportation cleans highway storm drains.

An 18-year-old Carson City woman was arrested in the 1000 block of S. Roop Street Wednesday afternoon for suspicion of stalking and two counts of violation of bail conditions.

With Christmas Eve travelers going east and westbound over the Sierra along two major highways, a Winter Weather Advisory for Lake Tahoe and Winter Storm Warning along the west slope of the Sierra in California, it is almost a sure bet motorists will experience delays before reaching their final destinations.
