United Federal Credit Union Mortgage sales manager in Carson City wins top 250 Latino Mortgage Originators Award
CARSON CITY — United Federal Credit Union Mortgage Sales Manager, Marlon Flores, was recently named to the “Top 250 Latino Mortgage Originators” list by the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals.
Flores has been with United since 2018. In his role, he is responsible for driving mortgage loan growth in the Carson City area. He also directs and is responsible for the Mortgage Advisors in his region and the mortgage call center.
“I am honored to be part of this award,” said Flores. “It feels amazing to be able to help the Hispanic community in northern Nevada in realizing the path to homeownership.”
More than 2,000 agents were nominated across the United States and Puerto Rico. The rules for the award state “Nominees are required to submit their individual number of closed residential transactions to be ranked against other nominees”.
According to NAHREP, the awards highlight the candidates’ “work every day in their local market to make homeownership a reality for families … The Top 250 list recognizes agents whose hard work and dedication has led them to close an outstanding number of transactions in an effort to increase the rate of sustainable Hispanic homeownership”.
“I am so proud of everything Marlon has accomplished since joining Team United four years ago,” said Al Iftiger, Director of Mortgage Production. “Marlon grew up in Carson City and his knowledge of the area is a huge benefit when he’s helping Members. He’s known as the go-to-guy for construction loans in the area, and has developed a huge local real estate following. Our community is lucky to have such a hardworking, caring person helping make their home ownership dreams a reality.”
