Historic Nevada State Prison tours sold out, more planned at later dates
UPDATE 3:25PM Thursday: Tours this weekend and June 5 for the historic Nevada State Prison in Carson City are now filled and sold out. More tours will be announced at a later date at the website here.
***
Be one of the first to go to prison. Not for anything you might have done, but for the history. The storied Nevada State Prison in Carson City will be open for public tours this weekend.
You'll be regaled with tales of prisoners past and hear the stories of the only prison ever to allow gambling inside the walls. So much history here. The NSP can be added to our other museums such as the railroad museum, the amazing state museum/mint and the Stewart Indian Museum.
Reservations a must:
On Saturday, May 29; Monday, May 31; and Saturday, June 5 we are offering four tour events on each day: 10 a.m., 11 a.m., noon, and 1 p.m. Tickets are $10.75 each, which includes the booking fee.
