Steve Nichols Named Carson High Varsity Girls Head Basketball Coach
Carson High Athletics is pleased to announce the hiring of Steve Nichols as the new Head Varsity Girls Basketball Coach at Carson High School (CHS).
Coach Nichols was the head girls coach at Dayton High School last season, winning 6 games, the most wins in that program in 14 seasons. He brings more than 30 years of basketball coaching experience to the position, coaching the youth levels, AAU levels and high school levels.
“Steve is engaging and enthusiastic and his positive attitude will be critical in building our program into a competitive one again,” CHS Athletic Director Blair Roman said. “His biggest focus will be to build a program from the ground up in the community and a full program at the high school involving all three levels of freshmen, junior varsity and varsity teams at our school.”
