About the Healing Our Kids Crusade:
The Healing Our Kids Crusade addresses the urgent mental health needs of children in Carson City and the quad-county area. Carson Tahoe received a $3.5 million grant from the State of Nevada to help fund the initiative, for retrofitting existing facilities to include inpatient and crisis stabilization beds for youth, an outpatient center, and mobile care units. Community funding is still sought to ensure that comprehensive mental health services and resources can be accessed by all area kids in need. To learn more about how you can help tackle this widespread community crisis and build a healthier future for our kids, please contact paula.mayer@carsontahoe.org
