2022 NCET Tech Awards to Honor Top Talent in Northern Nevada’s Technological Community

Event Date:
April 7, 2022 - 6:30pm

Nevada’s Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology (popularly known as NCET) will be hosting its annual Tech Showcase and Awards Gala alongside the Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada (EDAWN) Awards on Thursday, April 7, 2022.

Celebrating its 15th year milestone, the NCET Tech Awards celebrate the Northern Nevada individuals and companies who have greatly enhanced the growth and prestige of the technology community, while the EDAWN Awards recognize the people and resources that have played an integral part in contributing to the growth of our community. Key awards provided include Technology Company of the Year, Technologist of the Year, Medical/Health Services Company of the Year and Educator of the Year.

“We are thrilled to enter our 15th year of hosting our notable technology awards program,” said Dave Archer, CEO of NCET. “This year’s awardees have overcome immense obstacles throughout the pandemic and made a significant impact on our local business and entrepreneurship landscape, and we are incredibly honored to celebrate them this year.”

This year brings a new recognition opportunity at the Tech Awards: the 2022 Tech Stars. Tech Stars honor front-line employees, contractors and team members that have made a considerable impact in tech and tech-adjacent industries, especially during the pandemic. All honorees will be featured at the Tech Awards, and most will receive Certificates of Recognition from Nevada government officials such as Governor Steve Sisolak, Senator Catherine Cortez Masto and Congressman Mark Amodei.
