The completed mural serves as a striking entrance centerpiece to a new aviation-themed exhibition\, helping build excitement for the inaugural Red\, White\, and Flight Drone Show. This unique community mural transforms a single artwork into a shared experience\, where 250 individual contributions unite to form one inspiring visual celebration of aviation\, innovation\, and America’s 250th anniversary. Each artist contributes a portion of the larger design\, resulting in a cohesive mural that reflects the creativity and spirit of Northern Nevada. This collaborative effort is made possible through the partnership of three community organizations. The George W. Gillemot Foundation supports the original mural artwork\, advancing aviation education and inspiring future generations. Artown brings the community mural experience to life\, inviting artists of all backgrounds to participate. The Discovery hosts the reception and showcases the finished piece\, creating an engaging gateway into the exhibition.
