DESCRIPTION:Sunridge Golf Club has a thriving Women’s Club. We play 18 holes on Tuesday mornings between April and October. The cost to join for 2026 is $45 plus GHIN fees unless you are already a member of another club in which case the GHIN fee is excluded. The weekly cost is $45 for green fees and $5 for the game prizes. We have small cash prizes for weekly winners in the form of a credit on a Sunridge gift card.  \n\n\n\nBesides the lower green fees for the play days club member and one friend can play for the reduced green fee of $45 throughout the season and there is a 5% cash back credit for every dollar spent. \n\n\n\nIf you are interested in joining a fun women’s club to meet new women golfers\, or to have a place for you and your friends to gather on a weekly basis\, call Carli at (310) 463 6398 or our Pro Shop at (775) 267-4448 to sign up.

Tuition is free; donations and Symphony Association memberships are encouraged. These programs are for Carson City area public-\, private-\, and home-school students\, and classes are filled on a first come\, first served basis. \n\n\n\nSymphony Youth Chorus provides group singing experience for ages four and up. Classes meet on Tuesdays\, 3:00 to 4:00 p.m.\, beginning September 15\, at Empire Elementary School\, 1260 Monte Rosa Drive. Register at CCSymphony.com. \n\n\n\nSymphony Youth Strings provides beginning violin lessons for students grades 2 to 5\, a beginning cello program\, and ensemble/orchestra experience for string students in all grades. The instructors request that strings students do not rent or purchase instruments until after the first class. Some instruments are available for loan. Classes meet on Thursdays beginning September 17 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Family Church\, 1201 N. Saliman Rd. The beginning ensemble (Allegro) meets 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. The advanced ensemble\, STRAZZ\, meets 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. \n\n\n\nAll students will have the opportunity to perform in Symphony Youth Strings and Chorus concerts on December 10\, 2026\, and April 22\, 2027 at the Carson City Community Center. \n\n\n\nCarson City Symphony’s Youth programs are funded in part by grants from the Nevada Arts Council\, a state agency\, and the National Endowment for the Arts\, a federal agency; from Carson City; and by private donations.
