Musser Street. \n\n\n\nAdmission is free\, requested donation $10 at the door. The audience is invited to meet the singers and enjoy refreshments at a free reception in the Wesley Room following the concert. \n\n\n\nIn keeping with the theme\, the program includes Time\, Time After Time\, The Times They Are A Changin’\, Moonlight\, Day of Fire and Sun\, Lunar Lullaby\, and more. \n\n\n\nFounded in 1985 as a performing group of the Carson City Symphony Association\, the Carson Chamber Singers is open to singers high-school age and above. The ensemble performs in five or more concerts each year. They have sung with the Reno Philharmonic and sing regularly with the Carson City Symphony. They have performed at several venues in northern Nevada and as far west as Sacramento. \n\n\n\nCarson City Symphony Association concerts are supported in part by public funds through grants from the Nevada Arts Council and the National Endowment for the Arts\, from Carson City\, and by private donations.

DESCRIPTION:Healthy Communities Coalition of Lyon and Storey Counties’ next public meeting takes place Thursday\, April 9\, 2026 at the Silver Springs Community Center at 2945 Fort Churchill Street\, Silver Springs\, Nevada 89429from 9am to 11:30am.  \n\n\n\nThe April meeting includes presentations on two different topics by guest speakers.  \n\n\n\nRepresentatives from the Nevada Department of Public and Behavioral Health\, the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) and NAMI Western Nevada will lead a townhall. The discussion will provide an opportunity for attendees to provide input on the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline service.  \n\n\n\nAfterward\, Alisha Moss\, Healthy Communities’ Prevention Coordinator\, will give an update on Nevada’s Clean Indoor Air Act\, as well as updates about current tobacco use and vaping prevention strategies in our region. \n\n\n\nIn addition to breakfast and guest presentations\, the Coalition’s bi-monthly meetings include updates and announcements from Coalition staff\, volunteers and community partners. \n\n\n\nHealthy Communities Coalition is comprised of local\, state\, federal and tribal group partners\, community volunteers\, and a board of directors and staff all working together on a common goal to strengthen communities in the Lyon and Storey regions.
