Guests will enjoy a leisurely tea service featuring a selection of fine teas\, freshly baked scones served with clotted cream\, lemon curd\, and preserves\, along with an assortment of savory finger sandwiches and cakes prepared in the spirit of a proper 19th-century tea table. \n\n\n\n“Our Victorian teas are a delightful chance to slow down for an afternoon\,” said Liz Cain\, President of the Carson City Historical Society. “The Carriage House fills with fresh flowers\, fine china\, tea\, delicate finger sandwiches\, cake\, and good conversation.” \n\n\n\nFollowing the tea\, guests will be invited to enjoy a guided tour of the historic Foreman-Roberts House Museum\, offering a glimpse into Carson City’s early days and the lives of the families who helped shape the community. \n\n\n\nVictorian attire is warmly encouraged for those who wish to embrace the spirit of the occasion\, though it is certainly not required. \n\n\n\nReservations are required\, as seating is limited. DESCRIPTION:Carson Chamber Singers to Present “Time”Friday\, April 10\, 2026\, in Carson City \n\n\n\nThe Carson Chamber Singers directed by Jordan Gotchy welcomes you to a concert featuring music about time\, celestial change\, and seasons. The concert\, “Time\,” will be on Friday\, April 10\, 2026\, at 7:00 p.m.\, at First United Methodist Church\, 200 North Division Street\, Carson City\, NV. ADA entrance is 412 W. Musser Street. \n\n\n\nAdmission is free\, requested donation $10 at the door. The audience is invited to meet the singers and enjoy refreshments at a free reception in the Wesley Room following the concert. \n\n\n\nIn keeping with the theme\, the program includes Time\, Time After Time\, The Times They Are A Changin’\, Moonlight\, Day of Fire and Sun\, Lunar Lullaby\, and more. \n\n\n\nFounded in 1985 as a performing group of the Carson City Symphony Association\, the Carson Chamber Singers is open to singers high-school age and above. The ensemble performs in five or more concerts each year. They have sung with the Reno Philharmonic and sing regularly with the Carson City Symphony. They have performed at several venues in northern Nevada and as far west as Sacramento. \n\n\n\nCarson City Symphony Association concerts are supported in part by public funds through grants from the Nevada Arts Council and the National Endowment for the Arts\, from Carson City\, and by private donations.
