DESCRIPTION:Partnership Carson City\, the Carson City Sheriff’s Office and School Resource Officers offer the Responsible Beverage Server Training\, a course for those seeking certification to serve and sell alcohol in Carson City. Per the Nevada Revised Statuses 4.13.170\, anyone who sells or serves alcohol is legally required to complete the training. The Responsible Beverage Server Training is also open to anyone who would like to learn about Enforcing Underage Drinking Laws (EUDL) in Carson City.  \n\n\n\nIn this course\, attendees learn effective ways to check IDs\, the importance of keeping harmfulsubstances out of the hands of underage youth and the consequences for serving and/or selling tounderage youth. The cost is $20 and can be paid with cash or check. No personal checks are accepted\,and cashier’s checks must be made out to Partnership Carson City. A special treat is the Symphony’s performance of Alfred Reed’s Russian Christmas Music.To open the eight-day Hanukah holiday\, the orchestra will play Bill Holcombe’s Festive Sounds of Hanukah. To accommodate smoother crowd flow\, vendors will be set up downstairs through the exhibition hall and theater.  \n\n\n\nThe battle for the Best Tamale will be crowned by a panel of judges by a panel\, and People’s Choice Tamale\, voted on by the attendees. Happening from 10AM to 5PM on December 12th\, 13th\, and 14th. This musical celebration features talented students performing alongside our dedicated local music teachers. \n\n\n\nCome show your support for these budding musicians as they showcase their skills on stage. It’s a wonderful opportunity to experience captivating performances and appreciate the musical talents of our community. \n\n\n\nThis event is free and open to the public! More information from NNMTA below. \n\n\n\n— — — — — — — — \n\n\n\nEvery December\, NNMTA organizes a Winter Play-A-Thon at which students are given an opportunity to play in public places such as malls for valuable performance experience. Students are encouraged to solicit donations from family and friends to support their performance. \n\n\n\nDonations are used to help fund the Youth Piano Festival and other NNMTA events. \n\n\n\nPerformed repertoire does not have to be holiday oriented. In fact\, it’s common for students to play their standard repertoire of classical music and even music from their beginning method books. \n\n\n\nParticipation is organized through teachers\, so contact your teacher for more information.
