DESCRIPTION:Sunridge Golf Club has a thriving Women’s Club. We play 18 holes on Tuesday mornings between April and October. The cost to join for 2026 is $45 plus GHIN fees unless you are already a member of another club in which case the GHIN fee is excluded. The weekly cost is $45 for green fees and $5 for the game prizes. Doors open at 5:30 pm and the program starts at 6 pm. The Nevada Appeal and KUNR public radio are the media co-sponsors. The forum will be moderated by Tabitha Mueller\, Capital Bureau Chief at The Nevada Independent. Panelists include Elliot Parker\, Ph.D.\, Professor and Chair of Economics at the College of Business at UNR; Jeremy Gelman\, Ph.D\, Associate Professor of Political Science at UNR; and Eric Neugeboren\, Politics and Data Reporter at The Nevada Independent. In preparation for Nevada’s November election\, this interactive panel will cover what voters need to know about economic policies and will provide an update on Nevada’s economy. Carson Street\, inside the Carson Nugget. Gina’s is a smoke-free\, climate-controlled venue\, and has a well-stocked bar and specialty cocktails. The music is free; requested donation is $10. \n\n\n\n“With Flying Colors” features the 17-member band playing swinging songs on the theme of the evening\, several featuring vocalist Jakki Ford. Poets will present poems that each express an aspect of the theme\, followed by a tune that relates to the poem.
