DESCRIPTION:Sunridge Golf Club has a thriving Women’s Club. We play 18 holes on Tuesday mornings between April and October. The cost to join for 2026 is $45 plus GHIN fees unless you are already a member of another club in which case the GHIN fee is excluded. The weekly cost is $45 for green fees and $5 for the game prizes. We have small cash prizes for weekly winners in the form of a credit on a Sunridge gift card.  \n\n\n\nBesides the lower green fees for the play days club member and one friend can play for the reduced green fee of $45 throughout the season and there is a 5% cash back credit for every dollar spent. \n\n\n\nIf you are interested in joining a fun women’s club to meet new women golfers\, or to have a place for you and your friends to gather on a weekly basis\, call Carli at (310) 463 6398 or our Pro Shop at (775) 267-4448 to sign up.

DESCRIPTION:For the past three years\, Timbers Saloon in Carson City\, Nevada has hosted The Bette M. Larsen Memorial Golf Tournament to raise money for post high school vocational scholarships for Carson High School students in Bette’s honor. Bette was the owner of Timbers Saloon for almost thirty years before her passing in 2021. She hosted golf tournaments for most of those years\, donating to various charitable causes\, and for the last several years she provided these scholarships to our local students with 100% of the proceeds going to the students. For the last three years our golf tournaments have been a huge success\, raising enough money to provide 24-$1000 scholarships in the last three years! We hope these scholarships will be a meaningful steppingstone for our students\, through hard work\, to enter trades that benefit our community.
