DESCRIPTION:Interested in experiencing the thrill of a flight in a private aircraft? The Carson City EAA Chapter 403 is hosting another Young Eagles event at the Carson City Airport. This event is FREE and is open to kids ages 8-17 years of age. On the day of the event\, the kids will get a pre-flight safety briefing and then get to fly in one of a variety of aircraft that are owned by our Young Eagle Pilots. They will also get a Logbook to record their flights\, free membership to the EAA Young Eagles and an access code for free on-line Ground School.  \n\n\n\nThe event is on June 14\, 2025\, and registration is online only and opens on Saturday\, June 7th @ 8am. There is limited availability\, and these slots will fill up quickly.  \n\n\n\nHere is the link to register: \n\n\n\n\nhttps://eaachapters.org/event-details/CC11938LN\n\n\n\n\nEvents will be the second Saturdays of each month through October (Weather and pilot availability permitting). \n\n\n\nWe will also be hosting a pancake breakfast that morning at the EAA Chapter House which is located just west of the terminal. Breakfast will be served from 8 am to 10 am and is $10.00 for adults and $8.00 for children under age 18. Breakfast includes all the pancakes and eggs one can eat\, a helping of sausage\, orange juice\, coffee and bottled water. Cash or credit accepted. No reservation for breakfast is required.

The meeting will include food\, drinks\, live music\, a brief review the past year\, a preview of the coming season\, and election of members to the nine-member Board of Trustees. \n\n\n\nCellist Naomi Adams and pianist Wendy Whyman will entertain at the event\, which also includes a pot-luck dinner.
