DESCRIPTION:Mile High Band Association’s 2026 Jazz & Beyond Festival Committee and the Nevada Artists Association (NAA) are sponsoring an art contest for northern Nevada artists\, including teachers and students. Selected entries in the competition may be used to promote the festival\, and will be displayed at the NAA Gallery during the festival\, August 14 to 23. \n\n\n\nThe winning entry will be featured on the festival’s advertising poster\, program cover\, and festival T-shirts. The entry deadline is Friday\, May 15\, 2026. Participation is free. Entry forms will be available for download from jazzcarsoncity.com. \n\n\n\nThe artwork will be judged by a Jazz & Beyond committee. The winner of the competition will receive a certificate of appreciation from the Jazz & Beyond – Carson City Music Festival and a cash award of $500. Art Contest Coordinator Alexander Cassimus said\, “The artist’s work will be front and center\, viewed by thousands of festival patrons.”  \n\n\n\nArtists may submit more than one entry. SUMMARY:Advocates to End Domestic Violence Coloring Contest - Entries Due April 1st
DESCRIPTION:Screenshot\n\n\n\nScreenshot\n\n\n\n\nThe coloring contest started on March 2\, 2026\, and the last day to enter a coloring sheet will be April 1.  \n\n\n\nAll ages Welcomed to join in this great contest!  \n\n\n\nThe winner will be announced on April 3\, 2026\, at our Pinwheel Planting at the Legislature. Coloring Sheets will be hung up around Carson City’s Courthouse during April for the prevention of child abuse and neglect.  \n\n\n\nPrizes include gift cards\, an Easter gift basket\, or a clothing Voucher to our Store Classy Seconds. Stop by our office or email Heather to get a coloring sheet for your kiddos!

DESCRIPTION:The Battle Born Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution is a women’s volunteer service organization promoting Patriotism\, Education\, and Historic Preservation. Meetings are on the third Wednesday of each month at 12 noon for one hour. March 18th the meeting is at ADAMS HUB\, also called NDA at 111 W.
