Information has been less than transparent to the public and no independent due diligence has been completed wither on the space needs or the the lease agreement. \n\n\n\nLet Carson Vote will share how our tax dollars are being spent and why the city hall decision needs to to go to a public vote.  \n\n\n\nOnly 11% of residents want the new city hall per the CarsonNow.org poll. DESCRIPTION:The League of Women Voters of Northern Nevada\, in partnership with Sierra Nevada Forums and AAUW Capital (NV) Branch\, will present four free election forums featuring candidates on October 7\, 8\, 12\, and 14 beginning at 6 pm each night. The October 7 and 8 forums will be at the Nevada Legislative Building\, Room 1214. The October 12and 14 forums will be held at the Brewery Arts Center Performance Hall\, 511 W. King St in Carson City. Doors open at 5:30 pm. The forums are co-sponsored by the Nevada Appeal and KUNR public radio.The free forums will feature state and local candidates appearing on the November 3 ballot. The forums will be conducted with a live audience. Candidates will respond to questions posed by the moderator. Audience members may ask questions in writing.
