Ready to master your electronic optics? Whether you are mounting a red dot on a handgun or a rifle, this specialized workshop style clinic is designed to get your equipment dialed in and build your confidence behind the glass.
Course Highlights
Optics Zeroing Assistance: Get hands-on help to ensure your pistol and rifle optics are perfectly zeroed.
Dual-Platform Training: Choose to attend the pistol portion, the rifle portion, or both sessions.
Practical Progression: Learn the specific technical mechanics of shooting with a dot versus traditional iron sights.
What You Will Learn
How to properly zero your electronic optics
Red dot occlusion, focal planes, and finding the dot quickly
Dry and Live-Fire drills to assist you in mastering your optics
Handgun Optics Portion: Work on presentation, tracking the dot through recoil, and rapid alignment.
Rifle Optics Portion: Mounting considerations, mechanical offset (height over bore), and holdovers at varying distances.
Important: This is an intermediate skills-refinement course, not a basic shooting class.
Prerequisites: Participants must already know how to safely load, unload, and operate their firearms. Completion of First Shots or equivalent experience is highly recommended.
Gear Required: Bring your own optic-ready handgun and/or rifle, with your electronic sights mounted, and the specific adjustment tools/wrenches, and owner manuals for your optics. You’ll also need ammunition and eye/ear protection.
We’ll Provide: Instruction/guidance, targets, target stands, tables and shooting rests, shade & refreshments.
