Wag N’ Wheels 2026
Reno’s most adorable dog race is back!
Wag N’ Wheels is a community event celebrating wheelie dogs and raising money for a good cause! This year, they’re raising funds for Virgil’s Happy Wheels, helping provide mobility carts and support for dogs with mobility challenges so they can live happy, active lives.
How It Works
Before the event, each wheelie dog gets a professional photo.
Those photos will be displayed at Jade Dispensary in MidTown (starting mid-April) and online at wag-n-wheels.com, where the community can:
Vote for the dog they think will be the fastest
Each vote = a donation supporting Virgil’s Happy Wheels
Then on May 9, all the dogs race live to see who actually takes the win!

Get Involved! We are currently looking for:
Wheelie Dog Racers – does your dog use a mobility cart? We want them in the race!
Vendors – dog businesses, rescues, and local makers, come join us.
Sponsors – support the event + connect with Reno’s dog-loving community.
Volunteers – help with check-in, activities, and making the day run smoothly.
