V&T Depots – Lecture at Donovan Mill

The Virginia and Truckee Railroad was born from the riches and needs of the mining industry of the Comstock Lode. Beginning with its first spike driven on September 28th, 1869. We’ll step out on the platforms and inside the depots of Virginia City, Gold Hill, Mound House, Carson City, Dayton and Reno. Grab your ticket to ride and see the V&T’s depots and wayside structures as we steam down the rails that served Nevada’s Comstock Lode!
