The Printmakers Conspiracy – Artist Reception

This exhibition brings together a dynamic group of artists dedicated to strengthening the printmaking community in Nevada and the surrounding region. Through collaboration, conversation, and shared experimentation, the collective fosters connections among artists of all experience levels. For this exhibition, members explored monotype printmaking using a gelatin matrix, a process that balances spontaneity and control while producing richly textured, one-of-a-kind works, with many artists incorporating additional media to expand the creative possibilities. Featuring work by Tina Drakulich, Rebecca Eckland, Candace Garlock, Elaine Parks, Austin Pratt, Nolan Preece, Carol-Ann Ricketts, and Lynn Schmidt, the exhibition highlights both individual voices and a shared spirit of innovation, demonstrating how printmaking can build community, inspire experimentation, and celebrate the vitality of the medium.
