Sierra Nevada Forums Presents KUNR Purple Politics Nevada on March 4th 2025 at the BAC

Carson City, NV — The Sierra Nevada Forums, in cooperation with KUNR and in partnership with AAUW Capital Branch and the League of Women Voters of Northern Nevada, will host a nonpartisan Purple Politics Nevada conversation with two Nevada legislators on March 4 at the Brewery Arts Center Performance Hall, 511 W King St in Carson City. Doors open at 5:30 pmand the program starts at 6 pm. The forums are co-sponsored by the Nevada Appeal. This is the tenth season of free community forums on topics of current community interest.
KUNR’s political reporter Lucia Starbuck will moderate a discussion with State Senator Robin Titus (Rep) and Assemblymember Erica Roth (Dem) about the biggest debates facing the state legislature this session. Legislators will discuss the important issues facing Nevada lawmakers this legislative session and their priorities. Republican Minority Leader Titus was elected to the Nevada State Senate in 2022. She previously served in the Assembly from 2015-2021. She is a board certified physician. Assemblymember Roth was elected to the Nevada Assembly in 2024. She is an attorney for the Washoe County Public Defender’s Office and previously served as a deputy general counsel to Governor Steve Sisolak.
Time is reserved for written questions from members of the audience.
