Sierra Nevada Forum: “What Are Your Voting Rights?” Is May 12, 2026 at BAC

The Sierra Nevada Forums, in partnership with the AAUW Capital Branch and League of Women Voters of Northern Nevada will host “What Are Your Voting Rights?” a panel discussion on Tuesday May 12 at the Brewery Arts Center Performance Hall, 511 W King St in Carson City. Doors open at 5:30 pm and the program starts at 6 pm. The Nevada Appeal and KUNR are the media co-sponsors. This is the eighth forum of the eleventh season of free community forums on topics of current interest. 
The forum will be moderated by Lucia Starbuck of KUNR Public Radio. Panelists include Secretary of State Cisco Aguilar; Deputy Secretary of State Mark Wlaschin; and Carson City Clerk Recorder Scott Hoen. Our panel will cover the latest election changes and procedures.
With Nevada’s primary election slated for June 9, this timely panel will cover what voters need to know about election changes and current voting procedures. Time is reserved for written questions from members of the audience. No large bags or video recordings at the event please.
