Restore C Hill

On Saturday, June 27, come help move the C Hill rocks from the “26” back to the “C” for it to be repainted on June 28. Volunteers will meet at the west end of Rhodes Street behind Greenhouse Garden Center at 7:30 a.m. on June 27 and carpool to the top. High clearance 4×4 vehicles are necessary for this drive. From the parking location, volunteers will walk 1/4 of a mile on a dirt trail to the “C.”
This project requires lifting and carrying rocks. Volunteers will need to wear sturdy shoes, long-sleeve shirts and pants, gloves, hats, and sunscreen, and to bring water and snacks. Volunteers will need to sign a waiver, and anyone under 18 will need to be accompanied by a parent/guardian who can sign the waiver.
With the rocks back in their usual position, the C will be ready for a fresh paint job by Nolan Painting and Silver Elite Painting.
