Responsible Beverage Server Training Offered Through Partnership Carson City

Partnership Carson City, the Carson City Sheriff’s Office and School Resource Officers offer the Responsible Beverage Server Training, a course for those seeking certification to serve and sell alcohol in Carson City. Per the Nevada Revised Statuses 4.13.170, anyone who sells or serves alcohol is legally required to complete the training. The Responsible Beverage Server Training is also open to anyone who would like to learn about Enforcing Underage Drinking Laws (EUDL) in Carson City.
In this course, attendees learn effective ways to check IDs, the importance of keeping harmful
substances out of the hands of underage youth and the consequences for serving and/or selling to
underage youth. The cost is $20 and can be paid with cash or check. No personal checks are accepted,
and cashier’s checks must be made out to Partnership Carson City. Upon successful completion of the
course, participants receive a certification to sell and serve alcohol in Carson City.
Partnership Carson City’s Deputy Director Samantha Szoyka leads the course alongside the CCSO School Resource Officers. RSVP is required. To secure your spot in an upcoming class please call Partnership Carson City at 775-841-4730.
