Old World Coffee Roasters Celebrates a Decade of Slow Moments and Exceptional Coffee

10-Year Anniversary Celebration to Take Place Memorial Day Weekend with Free Coffee, Family Fun, and a Thank You to the Community
This Memorial Day Weekend, Old World Coffee Roasters invites the community to raise a cup in celebration of ten years of intentional moments, deep-rooted partnerships, and unforgettable coffee. Since 2014, Old World has stood for more than just exceptional coffee—it’s been a place to pause, gather, and savor.
From Saturday, May 24 to Monday, May 26, Old World cafés will host a special “Bring a Friend to Coffee” Buy one coffee, get one free at all Old World locations—with the Sierra Medical Center café open Monday only. It’s a simple way to share a cup—and a slow moment—with someone who matters.
In addition to this, Old World’s Northwest-Reno café will host a community patio party on Saturday, May 24 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Guests can enjoy:
Free face painting for kids and families
A local ice cream truck with sweet treats for all ages
Live coffee demos for the curious and the connoisseurs
Tastings from the Old World Drink Vault, featuring throwback café favorites and specialty pours
“For ten years, we’ve invited guests to slow down and drink up,” said founder Chris Garrison. “This anniversary is about saying thank you to the people who have made that journey possible—from our farm partners to the families and people who stop by our café every morning on their way to school or work. You’re part of our story.”
